Developer Acquires 270 Acres in Tamarac for 335-Unit Single-Family Residential Community

13th Floor Homes, the homebuilding division of Miami-based 13th Floor Investments, has finalized the acquisition of approximately 270 acres in Tamarac, Broward County, to develop a gated luxury residential community. The project, called The Woodlands, will be situated at 4600 Woodlands Boulevard and consist of 335 single-family homes on the former Woodlands Country Club site. Construction is slated to commence in late 2024, with the first homes expected to be delivered by late 2025.

South Florida-based developer 13th Floor Homes has commenced construction on two single-family rental communities in Port Saint Lucie, Florida: Villas of Torino and Tredici at Central Park. These developments, now under construction, will contribute 346 rental townhomes to the region, addressing the increasing demand for single-family housing in South Florida.

13th Floor Homes Secures $14.1M Financing For Solera At Avalon Trails In Delray Beach

In response to increasing demand for rental housing among South Florida’s active-adult community (ages 55+), 13th Floor Homes, a division of 13th Floor Investments, has secured $14.1 million in construction financing for Solera at Avalon Trails. This community features 74 single-story villas and is located at 14800 Cumberland Drive in Delray Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida. The financing, led by the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC), will support ongoing construction, set to begin in late 2023, with the first villas delivered in 2024.
