Demolition Permits Issued For 300 Biscayne Boulevard, Where Miami’s First Supertall Skyscraper Will Rise

Demolition permits have been issued for 300 Biscayne Boulevard, the development site of the upcoming 1,049-foot-tall Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences – Miami’s first skyscraper to reach supertall status. The 100-story mixed-use building is designed by Sieger Suarez Architects  in collaboration with Carlos Ott, and being developed by New York City and Miami-based Property Markets Group with Canada-based Greybrook Realty Partner. The scope of work involves the full demolition of a 73-year old, 11,119-square-foot single-story structure tucked at the northwest corner of Biscayne Boulevard and Northeast 3rd Street. The BG Group is listed as the contractor for the work priced at $30,000.

Related Group Seeks Approval To Increase Miami Station Tower To 539-Feet In Overtown

The Federal Aviation Administration has received applications for Miami Station, a 41-story mixed-use building planned for 525 Northwest 2nd Avenue in Miami’s Overtown District. The tower has been submitted seeking approvals to rise 539-feet, or 546-feet above sea level, a significant increase from the previously reported 459-feet seen in the most recent UDRB application. Designed by ODP Architecture & Design and developed by the Related Group, the project is expected to yield 752,859 square feet including 200,234 square feet of office space, 309 residential units, 8,508 square feet of retail space and a parking garage for 510 vehicles. The FAA application was filed on November 9, 2021.

PMG Applies For Demolition Permits At The Site Of The Upcoming Waldorf Astoria Miami

Demolition permits have been filed for the remaining structures at 300 Biscayne Boulevard, the future site of Miami’s first supertall mixed-use skyscraper – the Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences. Designed by Carlos Ott with Sieger Suarez Architects as the architect of record and developed by New York City’s Property Markets Group with Canada-based Greybrook Realty Partners, the structure is set to rise 1,049-feet across 100 stories over Downtown Miami and Biscayne Bay.
