This inclusive space will house a variety of features, including 504 multifamily residential units and 18,287 square feet of retail space at ground level. Internalized parking facilities will cater to 348 vehicles. The residential units will span a range of sizes, from cozy studios to spacious three-bedroom layouts, covering an area of 493 to 1,328 square feet. The development will offer a well-rounded living experience, including enticing rooftop amenities such as a pool deck with covered terraces, grilling spots, and inviting dining areas.

The permit applications were filed on March 28, 2023, and are currently under review by the FAA. The project, designed by Coral Gables-based Corwil Architects, is seeking approval to rise to 761 feet above ground or 772 feet above sea level. Witkin Hults + Partners handles the landscape architecture for the development, while Kimley-Horn is the civil engineer.

Miami-Dade County planners received plans for the development on June 3, 2022, which calls for a 746-foot-tall tower with 933,209 square feet of space including 504 multifamily residential units, 18,287 square feet of retail space at the ground levels, and internalized parking for 348 vehicles in the lower floors. The building is designed by Coral Gables-based Corwil Architects with Witkin Hults + Partners as the landscape architect and Kimley-Horn as the civil engineer.

Just a few weeks ago, YIMBY reported on the first detailed rendering of Brickell Gateway, a transit-oriented mixed-use high rise proposed for 90 Southwest 8th Street by developers Gazit Globe and Atlantic Pacific Communities. Another recent filing requesting a zoning hearing with Miami-Dade County planners has revealed a new set of preliminary plans that significantly increases the height of the tower from 643-feet to approximately 699-feet; a 56-foot jump. Designed by Coral Gables-based Corwil Architects, the building would now span 59 stories instead of 54, including a boost in retail and parking spaces, and overall yield 854,902 square feet of new construction with 504 residential units.

Designed by Coral Gables-based Corwil Architects and developed by Israeli developer Gazit Globe and Atlantic Pacific Communities, the 643-foot-tall structure is proposed to yield 504 residential units, 16,882 square feet of ground floor retail and parking for up to 245 vehicles. New details have emerged for a 54-story transit-oriented mixed-use tower planned to ascend on the southeast corner of SW 1st Avenue and SW 8th Street in Brickell, Miami. Gazit Horizons (Gazit), the North American subsidiary of Israel-based real estate developer Gazit Globe Group, along with Atlantic Pacific Communities have filed plans for Brickell Gateway, a 643-foot-tall building proposed for 90 Southwest 8th Street, which is across the street from Brickell City Centre and adjacent to Solitair Brickell Apartments. Although we don’t have official renderings just yet, we know the project is being designed by Coral Gables-based Corwil Architects with Kimley-Horn as the civil engineer. The building is proposed to yield 504 multifamily residential units, 16,882 square feet of retail space and parking space for up to 245 vehicles.

Full demolition permits have been issued for a low-rise commercial structure at 90 Southwest 8th Street in Brickell, Miami. Built in 1971, the building spans 45,465 square feet and is tucked in the southeast corner of the junction between Southwest 1st Avenue and Southwest 8th Street. The interior lot is approximately 21,210 square feet and bordered by multiple high-rise structures including the 48-story Soltair Brickell Apartments on the east and the 30-story Brickell Bayview Center on the south. Gazit Horizons Brickell LLC, an entity linked to Tel Aviv-based real estate magnate Gazit Globe, is the owner of the application.
