Tower crane permits have been filed for 300 Biscayne Boulevard, marking a significant step forward in the construction of Miami’s 100-story Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences. This supertall tower, designed by Sieger Suarez Architects in collaboration with Carlos Ott, is being developed by a consortium of high-profile partners. These include national developer Property Markets Group, Canadian private equity firm Greybrook Realty Partners, global investment company Mohari Hospitality, S2 Development, and global hospitality company Hilton, with John Moriarty Associates as the general contractor.

1,049-Foot Supertall Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences Sells 72% Of Inventory Prior To Construction

National developer Property Markets Group, along with partners Greybrook Realty Partners, Mohari Hospitality, S2 Development and global hospitality company Hilton have announced that the Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences, Florida’s upcoming first supertall skyscraper, has sold 72% of its residential inventory in just nine months. Designed by Sieger Suarez Architects in collaboration with renowned architect Carlos Ott and featuring interiors by award-winning interior design firm BAMO, the building will rise 100 stories and 1,049 feet above Downtown Miami and Biscayne Bay as the tallest residential and hotel building south of New York City, set to become a landmark beacon for the city and an architectural wonder in Florida.  Located at 300 Biscayne Boulevard, the development will mark the debut of one of the world’s most iconic hospitality brands, Waldorf Astoria, in the Miami market.

Related And Merrimac Announce 31-Story ‘The Crosby’ At Miami Worldcenter

The Related Group, one of South Florida’s most active condo developers, and Merrimac Ventures, led by the Motwani Brothers, have teamed up for the development of The Crosby, a 31-story residential tower announced to rise at 601 North Miami Avenue within the 27-acre Miami Worldcenter complex. The project is comprised of 450 fully furnished units ranging between 350 square feet to 825 square feet, configured in studio, one-bedroom and two bedroom floor plans; over 22,000 square feet of amenities and 4,000 square feet of ground floor commercial space. Residences at The Crosby will have no rental restrictions, meaning owners will have the option to offer their units as short-term rentals. Miami Lakes-based Cohen Freedman Encinosa & Associates, the architect behind the 43-story Caoba tower, is leading the design with New York City-based AvroKO named as the interior designer.

Permits Issued For Another 40-Story Tower At Miami Worldcenter In Park West, Downtown Miami

Construction permits have been issued for 697 North Miami Avenue, a 40-story mixed-use building planned to rise behind the 43-story Caoba tower at the 27-acre Miami Worldcenter development in Park West, Downtown Miami. Designed by Cohen Freedman Encinosa & Associates and developed by the CIM Group, the structure would rise 413-feet as part of the second phase of Block G. Plans for the second tower include 473,330 square feet of new construction with up to 411 residential units and 4,103 square feet of retail space. There would be no need for additional parking as the building will share the garage already attached to Caoba. Kaufman Lynn Construction, Inc. is listed as the general contractor.

Construction has topped off on Aston Martin Residences, a 66-story, 816-foot-tall residential skyscraper at 300 Biscayne Boulevard located in Downtown Miami. Designed by BMA Arquitectos y Associados with Revuelta Architecture International as the architect of record and developed by G & G Business Developments in collaboration with luxury automaker Aston Martin, the sail-shaped reinforced concrete structure will yield 391 luxury dwelling units with over 42,000 square feet of amenities. Coastal Construction is managing construction, while Cervera Real Estate is handling sales and marketing.
