The Related Group, one of Miami’s most active real estate developers, is planning to launch sales soon for Casa Bella, a 60-story residential building at 1400 Biscayne Boulevard in Downtown Miami near the border of Edgewater. The development site is where Aubuerge Residences was once planned, a glass-clad tower with wave-like proportions designed by Arquitectonica. According to The Next Miami, Related is likely reusing the original plans for the newly named tower as the height, unit count and layout are nearly identical. Casa Bella is projected to yield over 300 luxury residences ranging from 1 – 5 bedrooms and a maximum of 6 units per floor featuring interiors by Piero Lissoni.
Casa Bella at 1400 Biscayne Boulevard is one of three towers that Related is approved to build at the site, allowed to develop up to 1,430 residential units and 1,629 parking spaces. Two of the towers would rise 60 stories and a third tower would rise 50 stories, all anchored by a single podium. Details on the two other towers have yet to be revealed. The interior lot is located near the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts and the Miami International University of Art & Design. The Adrienne Arsht Metromover Station is less than a block away, as well as the Omni Station Bus Loop and several bus stops along Biscayne Boulevard.

Related Group has reportedly seen an increase in sales from international buyers at the 75-story Baccarat Residences and the 37-story The District, according to The Next Miami. Activity was spotted at the sales center of 1400 Biscayne Boulevard, so it could in fact be preparations for the sales launch of Casa Bella within the next few weeks.
Details on the demolition of the existing structures or the schedule for ground breaking and construction have yet to be announced.
