Strategic Property Partners (SPP) has unveiled the resort-style amenities at Asher, a new 22-story apartment tower at 1050 Water Street in Water Street Tampa, the 56-acre neighborhood transforming Downtown Tampa. Designed inside and out by renown architecture firm Morris Adjmi Architects with ODP Architecture & Design, the 490-unit building offers a nod to Tampa’s industrial history with oversized divided-light windows that maximize natural light. The building also boasts a custom art collection curated by Adjmi’s team that showcases over 40 works by national and international artists.
The development’s curated amenity collection is designed to foster community and encourage socialization among residents. Amenities include Water Street Tampa’s largest pool deck — a dynamic rooftop space complete with 70 lounge chairs, cabanas, outdoor kitchens, outdoor social garden and an entertainment lawn — as well as a state-of-the-art fitness center, entertainment lounge, café, media lounge and co-working space with private conference rooms.
Through a collaboration with SPP, national hospitality operator Method Co. will service the building’s extensive suite of amenities, including a 24-hour concierge. Residents will enjoy a highly curated lifestyle experience.
Asher’s 490 rental residences range from studio to two-bedroom homes. The homes feature Fisher & Paykel appliances, Caesarstone quartz countertops, subway tile backsplashes and custom Morris Adjmi-designed vanities. Select homes feature private terraces.
Method Co. is also opening ROOST Tampa, an elevated extended-stay hotel option with 97 move-in ready studio, one- and two-bedroom homes and a handful of co-living residences, at Asher. Asher’s rental residences are located on the top 15 floors of the building, while ROOST Tampa occupies the first six residential floors. All residents share access to the building’s amenities.
As part of the larger Water Street Tampa neighborhood, Asher places residents in the heart of a vibrant live-work-play neighborhood with everything they need at their fingertips. Wagamama, the international Asian-inspired restaurant brand, and a Synovus bank branch, will open inside the building later this year. Asher also provides residents with convenient access to the city’s best cultural, dining and entertainment options, including the Tampa Riverwalk, Amalie Arena, the Florida Aquarium and Sparkman Wharf, Water Street Tampa’s popular waterfront dining, office and community gathering destination.
