Apopka Business Center Slated for 444 Hermit Smith Road, Apopka, Florida

Apopka Business Center is taking shape in Central Florida. The 710,073-square-foot venture will comprise three buildings, resting on a 79-acre site. GrowthSpotter reports that the smallest building will measure 120,192 square feet. The two other buildings will measure 443,106 square feet and 146,775 square feet.

The development will cost anywhere from $21.6 million to $50 million to complete. Developers filed a rezoning request in August 2021, requesting the zone be changed from a residential single-family estate district to a light industrial district.

The venture is near Hermit Lake.

Trammell Crow Residential owns the project. Founded in 1948, the firm has developed or obtained structures totaling $70 billion. The Orlando-based developer has managed many projects similar to this one. C4 Architecture LLC is the project’s designer, and it’s shared conceptual renderings with many Central Florida publications.

At this time, it’s unclear what businesses will occupy Apopka Business Center. However, the venture is located near the Mid-Florida Logistics Center, which hosts Goya, Coca-Cola, and Amazon facilities. Apopka Business Center may draw similar nationally-recognized organizations.

Apopka Business Center’s address is 444 Hermit Smith Road, Apopka, Florida, 32703, in Orange County. Google Earth’s renderings suggest that the build site is currently unoccupied. The commercial venture will rest on the banks of Hermit Lake and south of McKay Lake/
