Crosswind Lake Harris Planned for Lake County, Florida

Kolter Homes LLC intends to move forward with Cresswind Lake Harris, an age-restricted community in Lake County, Florida. The $224 million venture will offer 625 single-family homes. Many will sit on generously-sized lots, as the parcel measures more than 200 acres.

Future residents can choose from about 15 different floorplans, and residency is reserved for adults over 55 years old. Communal amenities will include pickleball courts, a dog park, a swimming pool, and an outdoor trail. Plans also call for a $10 million clubhouse and a private marina for community use, per GrowthSpotter.

The community measures more than 200 acres.

Construction could start either late this year or early next year. Completion will come in four phases. Tavares City Council approved Cresswind Lake Harris in July 2022. Residents of Lee County initially disputed the community’s development, citing fears about roadway access and traffic density.

Yet, Lowndes Law, Kolter Homes LLC’s representative, notes that the organization has “one above and beyond code minimums for the city and to ensure protections.”Cresswind Lake Harris is just one of many residential developments under the Cresswind brand, which has ventures throughout Florida.

The venture rests near Lake Harris.

Cresswind Lake Harris’s address is Lake Park Road and Woodlea Road, Tavares, Florida, 32778, in Lake County. The venture will rest near Lake Harris, a body of water measuring more than 15,000 acres.
