29-Story Gallery At West Brickell Breaks Ground At 201 SW 10th Street In West Brickell, Miami

Related Urban Development Group, the affordable housing arm of Related Group, Miami-Dade County, and Miami-Dade County Public Schools celebrated the groundbreaking of the 29-story Gallery at West Brickell on Wednesday, September 21. The event commemorated the start of construction on the third Gallery-branded property, attracting many notable people, including Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava; Miami-Dade County District 5 Commissioner Eileen Higgins; Miami-Dade County Public Housing Director Michael Liu; Related CEO Jorge M. Perez among others. The 304-foot-tall project is located at 201 Southwest 10th Street in  West Brickell, Miami. It will offer 465 mixed-income units ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments with 163 units reserved for workforce housing, 302 market-rate units, 2,240 square feet of office space, 2.338 square feet of retail space, and 529 parking spaces. Gallery at West Brickell was designed from the ground up to be on par with its market-rate counterparts. Featuring a mix of conveniences and unexpected luxuries, the lifestyle offerings on hand raise the bar for future workforce housing and improves residents’ quality of life. Highlights include the property’s sun deck, a resort-style pool, and panoramic views of the Brickell skyline. Other amenities include a state-of-the-art fitness center, various pet amenities, a podcast studio, a wifi-enabled coworking space, and much more.

“Through this groundbreaking, we are paving the way for hundreds of local families to find accessibly priced homes in a Class A development located within a block of mass transit that they can all be proud of,” said Albert Milo, President of Related Urban, the affordable and mixed-income arm of development giant Related Group. “Working hand in hand with the School Board, the County, and the City, we are continuing to show the immense potential of public-private developments. This is the future of our sector.”

$190 million is being invested in building the Gallery at West Brickell, which received funding from a variety of sources, including $145 million from JPMorgan Chase & Co., $12.2 million from Related Group, $3.5 million from Miami-Dade County, $3 million from the City of Miami.
