Sandpiper Glen, an affordable senior housing development, is slated for Orlando, Florida. Groundbreaking happened earlier this month. The development will offer 288 units, ranging from 630 square feet to 1,286 square feet each. Future residents can choose from one-bedroom to three-bedroom floorplans. Residences will feature central air conditioning, walk-in closets, granite countertops, and fully-equipped kitchens.
The venture is currently undergoing construction.
Some will come with patios or balconies, depending on the unit’s elevation. At this time, rent information isn’t available. However, sources suggest that the high-end units will be affordable compared to similar units in the area. Multifamily Housing News reports that communal amenities comprise a two-story clubhouse, fitness center, swimming pool, dog park, theater, and green space with grilling areas.
The largest amenities are off campus. Sandpiper Glen is within 15 minutes of Orlando International Airport and southwest of Jay Blanchard Park. Dominium Development is one of the partners in the venture. It’s working with the Housing for All Task Force to make the project possible. This is Dominion Development’s 10th housing complex in the country. It’s the fourth in Florida.
The community is located 30 minutes away from Walt Disney World.
Other involved entities in the venture include Weis Builders, Bessolo Design Group, RBC Capital Markets, and Dominium Construction & Architectural Services, per Dominium. Sandpiper Glen’s address is 8890 Donnybrook Drive, Orlando, Florida, 32825, in Orange County. It’s a 30-minute drive from Walt Disney World Resort.

Since I live right behind your Sandpiper Glend development I thought you would like to know how it is affecting me. Your construction is causing me a lot of problems with dust and dirt in my pool and porch. Sometimes your heavy equipment moving around causes my house to shake. I had to have my house replumbed a couple of months ago because broken water pipe under the concrete pad.
