Sky St. Pete Could Start Construction Next Year at 1624, 1642, 1650, and 1662 Burlington Avenue North, St. Petersburg, Florida

Sky St. Pete is a proposed housing development in Pinellas County, Florida. The 20-story building would comprise 232 residential units, according to St. Pete Rising. The bottom floor hosts the building’s lobby. Stories two through five will comprise parking.

Residential units begin on the sixth floor and continue to the top floor. Communal amenities comprise a residential lobby, bike storage station, fitness center, and 230 parking spots. The venture would measure 212 feet and rest on a .73-acre lot.

The building will measure 20 stories above grade.

Presently, the build site is home to a vacant dirt lot and various residential structures. The general contractor will demolish those residences to make way for the new tower. Sources report that the venture could cost around $94 million to complete.

These same sources note that construction could start in 2023 and end in 2025. DevMar Development is the developer. Fusco Shaffer & Pappas is the architect. Conceptual renderings show a high-rise building with an outdoor amenity deck.

The tower rests on a parcel measuring less than an acre.

Booth Design Group is the landscape architect, George F. Young, Inc. is the civil engineer, and Emerald Engineering is the engineer. Most of the entities involved in this venture are based in Southwest Florida. Sky St. Pete’s address is 1624, 1642, 1650, and 1662 Burlington Avenue North, St. Petersburg, Florida, 33713, in Pinellas County.
