On Thursday, October 27, New York and Miami-based Aria Development Group, in partnership with AQARAT, one of Kuwait’s leading real estate companies, celebrated the grand opening of YotelPad Miami with a party-themed all things 305. Located 227 Northeast 2nd Street in the heart of Downtown Miami, the stylish 31-story mixed-use project, designed by Stantec, was the first new construction condominium in the area to offer buyers the option to rent out their units for short-term stays without restrictions. The location consists of 222 Yotel rooms and 231 residence-style pads. YotelPad Miami is the brand’s second pad location worldwide following the 2020 opening of YotelPad Park City, marking the sixth location in the US and 21st globally.

Event guests were among the first to experience the new building’s tech-forward features, state-of-the-art amenities, sweeping city views, and delicious food & drink offerings. An evening full of firsts, guests also experienced Yotel’s new Non-Stop brand campaign being rolled out globally on November 1, designed to capture the energy and excitement of Yotel locations worldwide.

Guests were greeted with tropical-flavored, boozy paletas (popsicles) served by local artisan Cielito from Yotel’s whimsical popsicle-shaped Mission Control (front desk) and cocktails from Mazeh, the hotel’s Middle Eastern restaurant and bar as they entered the first-ever combined Yotel and YotelPad concept, located at 227 NE 2nd St.

Partygoers had the chance to enjoy the ultimate selfie moment with the hotel’s branded purple Moke electronic vehicle. Guests were then escorted to the hotel’s 11th floor, where they explored Yotel’s cleverly-designed rooms with three distinct immersive activations that included an aura reading room, a Non-Stop content creation studio, and a Miami Cocktail Company room takeover styled with abundant fresh produce and florals to complement the canned cocktail flavors.
The party continued on the hotel’s pool deck, and restaurant Float, which turned into the ultimate Miami-inspired party located 12 floors high with views of downtown and Biscayne Bay. Before dancing the night away, guests stopped by Yotel Miami’s state-of-the-art gym to pick up complimentary swag, including themed bucket hats, sunglasses, tote bags, and other tropical attire. As the party ended, guests enjoyed locally-made chocolate cigars, another nod to Miami’s influence and local flavors.
