310 Luxury Apartment Complex Planned for 215 Williamson Boulevard, Ormond Beach, Florida

After years of faithful service, a 39,368-square-foot movie theater in Ormond Beach, FL, will make way for a new housing development. Hometown News notes that the community will comprise 310 luxury apartments. They will be spread across two four-story buildings, outfitted with interior hallways. Plans also call for a two-story building with two homes. The build site measures 12 acres.

Construction could start early next year.

Amenities include a community pool, electric bicycle charging stations, and 496 parking spots. Plans also call for “310 new trees, three retention ponds with lighted fountains,” and more. Sources report that LandSouth Construction could start working on the community in February 2023. The venture could cost $117 million to complete.

At the time of publication, the venture was still in its permitting stages. Renderings from Google Earth show that while defunct, the Regal Cinema movie theater still stands. It ceased operations in October 2020, according to the Daytona Beach News-Journal.

The venture will replace a now-closed movie theater.

Charlan Brock Associates is the architect. LIV Development is the developer, and Newkirk Engineering, Inc. is the civil engineer. The latter company’s based in Alabama, while the best are located in Florida.

The new community’s address is 215 Williamson Boulevard, Ormond Beach, Florida, 32174, in Volusia County. It’s east of I-95.
