In 2020, Lanai Landings opened, a residential community in Miami-Dade County, FL. Now, nearly three years later, developers are proposing a second phase. That addition would comprise more than 420,000 square feet of new construction, offering 274 apartments in two nine-story buildings on a 1.76-acre build site.
The homes would measure 543 square feet to 1,352 square feet, ranging from one-bedroom to two-bedroom layout plans. Communal amenities would include a fitness center and dog park. Plans also call for 371 parking spots and more than 2,700 square feet of retail.
Lanai Landings II LLC filed the application with city officials yesterday. Form Group is the architect, having shared conceptual renderings online. They show two mid-rise buildings in a contemporary style. It looks starkly different from Lanai Landings.
At the time of publication, Lanai Landings comprised 54 units. Apartments.com reports that the community only offers one-bedroom apartments. These are likely at-rate units, with Lanai Landings II offering similar pricing options.
If approved, Lanai Landings II would offer five times more apartments than phase I. Its address is 14550 Mable St., Princeton, Florida, 33032, in Miami-Dade County. Google Earth shows that the venture is south of Zoo Miami and north of Leisure City.
