Developers have proposed a high-rise tower in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood. Domus Flats II could stand close to 340 feet tall, offering more than 450 lodging units in a 29-story building.
The Next Miami notes that homes will include studios to two-bedroom units, along with 1,545 square feet of ground floor retail space. There will be 303 studios, 121 one-bedroom homes, and 35 two-bedroom homes. Communal amenities include a rooftop bar and pool, grilling area, and 150 parking spots.
Sources report that the build site currently measures over 22,000 square feet. North Development, LLC is the developer. It’s also the developer behind Domus Brickell Park, a nearby high-end community featuring 171 condos/hotels in 12 stories.
Zyscovich Architects is the architect for both that project and Domus Flats II. Domus Brickell Park is slated for a 2025 completion, offering fully furnished homes measuring 330 square feet to 979 square feet each. They start in the $400,000s.
Domus Flats II’s address is listed as 221 SW 11th Street, Miami, Florida, 33130, in Miami-Dade County. The community will be east of I-95 and south of the Miami River. Renderings from Google Earth suggest that prior to the start of construction, already-existing structures will require demolition.
