Lincoln Gardens Continues Construction on Second and Third Phase at 2455 NW 46th Street, Miami, FL, 33147

Lincoln Gardens, a $41.2 million affordable housing development, is still unfolding in Miami’s Brownsville neighborhood. Per the venture’s website, the three-phase community unveiled the first portion in 2022, offering 134 garden-style apartments and eight rental townhomes.

The third phase will offer 10 townhomes.

The second phase (dubbed “Lincoln Gardens Elderly”) is scheduled to finish construction in January 2024, offering 77 residences for seniors. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development reports that residency for the second phase will be limited to elderly households making at or below 60 percent of the area median income. According to City of Miami records, this aspect will occupy a 0.957-acre build site at 2425 NW 46th Street, Miami, FL.

The third and final phase, also scheduled for a January 2024 completion, will offer 10 buy-to-own townhomes. Upon full build-out, Lincoln Gardens will boast 221 units, ranging from one-bedroom to four-bedroom floorplans. Communal amenities will include a 2,500-square-foot community center that features a leasing office, computer lab, and multi-purpose room.

The second phase offers affordable housing options for seniors.

The entire Lincoln Gardens project is a joint development between the Related Group and Miami-Dade County. Both recognize a growing need for affordable housing in the area. The Related Group has also overseen the construction of more than 100,000 condos since its inception. Lincoln Gardens’ address is listed as 2455 NW 46th Street, Miami, FL, 33147, in Miami-Dade County.
