Buccini/Pollin Group and BPGS Construction are preparing for a pivotal moment later this year: the groundbreaking of the W Hotel Orlando. Planned for construction at 9724 Mia Circle, this 22-story luxury lifestyle hotel is strategically located on a 10-acre plot at the intersection of Universal Boulevard and Destination Parkway, adjacent to Universal’s highly anticipated new 750-acre ‘Epic Universe‘ amusement park, which will welcome visitors in summer 2025. The W Hotel Orlando is aiming for completion in 2026.

The design for the W Hotel Orlando has been entrusted to a team of renowned firms. Cooper Carry leads the architectural vision, ensuring that the hotel’s design will resonate with contemporary elegance and the hallmark sophistication of the W Hotel brand. Landscape architecture by LandDesign and civil engineering by Kimley-Horn complement comprehensive planning, aiming to create an inviting and sustainable outdoor environment for guests and visitors. Interior spaces, envisioned by ID & Design International, are set to reflect the modern luxury lifestyle that the W Hotel brand epitomizes, focusing on comfort, style, and functionality.

The hotel is poised to enhance Orlando’s hospitality landscape with 400 meticulously designed guest rooms equipped with modern amenities to cater to every visitor’s needs. Central to its allure is a 2,000-seat concert venue, capable of hosting around 200 acts annually, set to boost the city’s cultural and entertainment offerings significantly. The hotel’s comprehensive amenity package includes a six-story parking facility and five culinary venues, highlighting a 400-seat destination restaurant that enjoys international acclaim and will debut in Orlando. These offerings, coupled with expansive outdoor plazas and greenways, are designed to provide guests and visitors with an immersive experience that seamlessly integrates the urban fabric with natural beauty.

Additional amenities include five bars and restaurants to cater to various culinary tastes, including a world-renowned “Living Room” bar and lounge. The development will feature an adult rooftop pool offering stunning views and a family-friendly pool, ensuring leisure options for guests of all ages. The rooftop area is also designed to function as a lively day club and nightclub, complete with DJ performances and luxurious cabanas, providing an exclusive social scene.

As Orlando continues to evolve as a leading tourist destination, the arrival of the W Hotel near Epic Universe is anticipated to set new standards in luxury hospitality and seamlessly integrate into the city’s dynamic tourism landscape.
