The Palm Beach Zoning Commission will consider plans regarding “Bedner Oaks Commerce,” an industrial complex proposed on a swath of agricultural land.
The multi-million-dollar venture would occupy a nine- and five-acre site currently owned by Bedner’s Farms. The popular farmer’s market would remain on the site.
According to the South Florida Business Journal, if the plans are approved, Bedner would build three 35-foot-tall warehouses. There would be two warehouses on the nine-acre parcel, with the buildings’ square footage being 66,337 and 48,737 square feet. This site would host 149 parking spots and 36 loading spaces.
The smaller, five-acre parcel would host a 67,420-square-foot warehouse featuring 70 parking spots and 12 loading spaces. At the time of publication, Bedner Oaks Commerce did not have any official tenants.
Demand for industrial space is high in Florida. Last month, we reported on “Constellation Air Commerce Park,” another industrial project. Located six miles from Orlando International Airport, this venture will span 970,000 square feet. Construction is expected to start later this year and end in the third quarter of 2025.
City documents list the nine-acre portion of Bedner Oaks Commerce’s address as “West side of State Road 7, approximately 415 feet south of Lee Road” in Palm Beach County.
