Construction continues on RiversEdge, a mixed-use venture led by Pennsylvania-based Toll Brothers on the St. Johns River. Upon completion, the 33-acre project will offer around 1,130 residences, 200 of which will be high-end condos, the remaining of which will be class A multi-family housing units. RiverEdge’s website shares that select homes will measure more than 1,800 square feet, featuring stainless steel appliances, two-car garages, and other high-end finishings.

The Jacksonville Business Journal shares that other offerings include 120,000 square feet of retail, 200,000 square feet of office space, close to 150 hotel rooms, and a 125-slip marina. RiversEdge offers another unique aspect: 3.5 acres of public parks.

There will be four: Marshfront Park, Fitness Park, Northwest Park, and Central Park. Each one will center around a different theme; for instance, Marshfront Park will offer walking paths through nature landscapes, while Fitness Park is “a dynamic space with state-of-the-art workout equipment and playgrounds for kids of all ages.”

Vertical construction started on RiversEdge earlier this spring. The venture’s slated for a 2025 completion; the Jacksonville Daily Record reported earlier this year that developers hoped to finish the parks by this year’s conclusion. RiversEdge will cost close to $700 million to complete.
