Construction has reached the upper floors at Casa Bella Residences by B&B Italia, a 56-story condominium tower rising at 1400 Biscayne Boulevard in Downtown Miami. Developed by Related Group and Alta Developers, with Arquitectonica as the architect, Piero Lissoni handling interior design, and Enzo Enea overseeing landscaping, the tower steadily advances toward its full 649-foot height. Coastal Construction is the general contractor, leading the build as structural work pushes past the 42nd floor, placing the tower’s shell at roughly 75 percent completion.

Recent aerial photos highlight the tower’s undulating form, with curved balconies and a rippling façade taking shape as construction progresses upward. Green safety netting wraps around the exterior, partially obscuring the ongoing work, while two yellow tower cranes frame the site as the structure continues to rise. The parking structure appears nearly complete, with only the final section of formwork remaining.

Glass installation has reached the 30th floor, while balcony railing installation trails around the 15th floor. Smooth gray stucco finishes are being applied to the concrete walls beneath the windows. A large branded banner displaying sales information hangs at the tower’s center, with a Coastal Construction banner positioned above it.

Construction should top off by the summer and wrap up sometime in 2026.

The development is located in Miami’s Arts and Cultural District, directly across from the Adrienne Arsht Center and steps from Museum Park, PAMM, and the Frost Science Museum. The site offers convenient access to the Metromover’s Adrienne Arsht Center station, Brightline’s MiamiCentral station, and nearby highways, including I-395 and I-95. Residents are also within walking distance of Miami Worldcenter,

Casa Bella Residences by B&B Italia is Miami’s first residential collaboration with the renowned Italian design house B&B Italia, bringing high-end European aesthetics to its interiors and amenity spaces. The tower’s rippling design and curved balconies are inspired by the movement of Biscayne Bay, offering a striking contrast to the rigid, linear forms of surrounding skyscrapers.

Residents will have access to a comprehensive suite of luxury amenities, including an 11th-floor pool deck featuring Italian-inspired gardens, a spa, an 80-foot lap pool, a bar and Mediterranean café, private cabanas, a yoga lawn, and a pickleball court. On the 56th floor, a private rooftop pool and terrace will provide panoramic views of Miami and Biscayne Bay alongside an exclusive Casa Bella lounge. Additional indoor amenities include a state-of-the-art fitness center, a coworking lounge, and entertainment spaces such as a music room and golf simulator.

  1. Looks like a great location and the architecture seems to blend in nicely. Great photography again!

  2. Can someone explain to me how/why miami doesn’t seem to plan around air rights? Some of the balconies on low floors look directly into the building next door with very little space or light to be had. Why not plan around this like New York does??

  3. The architectural renderings of the glass railings being without columns and actually having curved glass makes the rendering with posts and flat glass panels rather disappointing.
