The former site of the Louis Palms Mobile Home Park in Largo is slated for a community with some affordable housing. The Park Vista Apartments would feature 74 units in four stories. The market-rate and affordable housing units will span studio to two-bedroom floorplans, and every home will feature a balcony or patio.

Fifteen of the 74 apartments would be designated as affordable housing. Residency would be available to those earning up to 80 and 120 percent of the area median income (AMI). Pinellas County’s median household income is $92,000.

Square Peg Development LLC is the developer. Other involved parties include Michael Roth Design Group and Mobius Architecture. The 1.85-acre build site currently has mobile homes on the premises, but they are vacant and will be demolished.

The mobile home park had 23 units; the Park Vista Apartments would more than triple the number of residences.  The venture has participated in the Mobile Home Park Relocation Assistance Program, which requires developers to help relocate displaced residents and offer some affordable housing.

The new 74-unit venture isn’t the only proposal that could replace a mobile home park. In June 2025, Florida YIMBY reported on a project in Consolidated Companies Group’s pipeline. The firm wants to proceed with retail and 145 homes in Miami-Dade, 18 of which would be designated as affordable housing.

The Park Vista Apartments has been proposed for 621 Stemma Road, Largo, Florida, 33770, in Pinellas County.
