South Florida-based Alcazar Development Group intends to move forward with a multi-family housing community in unincorporated Miami-Dade County.
Aura Living is set to comprise 211 apartments, with at least 27 homes designated as workforce housing. Miami-Dade County defines workforce housing as residences reserved for tenants earning 60 to 140 percent of the area median income (AMI). Currently, this amount ranges from $42,600 to $99,400 when adjusted for a family of four.
Aura Living’s 211 homes will be divided among three buildings: two measuring six stories, and the other measuring four stories. Alcazar Development Group purchased the project’s vacant 4.3-acre build site for $3.1 million in 2015. The site plan for Aura Living was approved in 2021.

Amenities will include a swimming pool. Image by Anillo. Toledo. Lopez, LLC
Anillo. Toledo. Lopez, LLC is the architect. Conceptual renderings from the Miami-based firm show that the development will have a host of on-site amenities, including a fitness center, resort-style swimming pool and deck, and children’s playground. Anillo. Toledo. Lopez, LLC refers to Aura Living as “Alcazar Apartments Villas” on its website.
Aura Living will be located on the southeast corner of Southwest 280th Street/Waldin Drive and Southwest 152nd Avenue in Naranja, Florida, 33032. The project follows a growing trend of developers building on incorporated land in southern Miami-Dade County.
