Following the acquisition of a $60 million construction loan, Alta Developers has started construction on the first phase of Princeton Commons, a multi-phase residential community in Miami-Dade County.
The first phase is set to feature 308 apartments in nine buildings. The structures will range from three to seven stories; the homes themselves will range from one-bedroom to three-bedroom layout plans.
In-unit features will include spacious balconies, high ceilings, and large, hurricane-grade windows that allow for maximum natural lighting. Additionally, residents will have access to 417 parking spots. The first phase will occupy 9.8 acres, spanning three parcels.

Plans have been approved for the second phase of Princeton Commons, although sitework has not yet started on the build site. The slightly smaller phase will feature 226 units in seven buildings, similar in design to its preceding phase. Here, residents would have access to 350 parking spots.
As noted, Alta Developers is leading the project. The firm is also behind Cassia Residences, a 12-story, 174-unit condominium in Coral Gables. Construction on the complex started earlier this March. MSA Architects designed Princeton Commons.
