The former site of Pompano Beach’s Festival Flea Market will soon be transformed into a Class-A industrial development. The Market opened as the Pompano Outlet Mall in 1986 and ceased operations after more than 40 years of operations earlier this spring.

Festival Logistics Park will span about 475,000 square feet of new construction, comprising three buildings measuring 60,000 to 300,000 square feet. Each will have a 32- to 36-foot clear heights, and two of the buildings will face Sample Road for maximum visibility.

Highlights of Festival Logistics Park include loading docks, ESFR sprinkler systems, and other energy-saving features intended to promote efficiency. Developers Foundry Commercial and Wheelock Street Capital have partnered together on the project.

The pair purchased Festival Logistics Park’s roughly 25-acre site for $66 million. They intend to start demolition on the site’s already-existing structures by the end of this year; the industrial park’s completion is intended for late 2026. The two already own the site directly behind the former flea market.

Festival Logistics Park is planned for 2900 W. Sample Road, Pompano Beach, Florida, 33073, in Broward County. The venture is strategically located near the Florida Turnpike and other major eCommerce routes.
