Three developers have started construction on a four-story housing development for seniors in Central Florida.
Azalea Lake Mary is set to comprise 178 homes: 110 one-bedroom units and 68 two-bedroom units. The average residence will measure 935 square feet. In-unit features will include quartz countertops, private balconies and patios, and stainless-steel appliances.
Azalea Lake Mary will also feature more than 7,500 square feet of communal indoor amenities, including (but not limited to) a fitness center, game room, and multi-purpose room. Additionally, outdoor amenities will include a resort-style swimming pool, an event lawn, and grilling stations.
Mattoni Investments notes that south of Azalea Lake Mary, Market at Mary will add a single-story, 13,086-square-foot freestanding building. It will host six suites, each ranging 1,600 to 3,600 square feet. The tenants will offer a mix of food, wellness, and beverage services.
ZOM Living, Mattoni Investments, and The Wideman Co. are the three developers. Verdex Construction is the general contractor; it hopes to finish construction by early 2027. One Line Design Studio is the interior designer. MSA Architects designed Azalea Lake Mary. The Miami-based firm also designed The Residences at Bayview, a mixed-use project in Fort Lauderdale.
