Minto Communities USA has announced The Oaks, a new residential neighborhood within the City of Westlake. Opened December 6 and located off River Bend Drive, the community will include 266 single-family homesites in its first phase, with only 19 sites available in the initial release. Prices will start in the mid $400s. The Oaks introduces two new architectural elevations, Contemporary and Modern Farmhouse, expanding Minto’s established Cypress and Indigo home collections.
“With our existing single-family neighborhoods nearly complete, we felt the time was right to introduce something new that offers innovative designs with attainable pricing,” said Steve Svopa, Division President, Operations, Minto Communities USA. “The Oaks marks another exciting step forward in the evolution of Westlake, which we believe offers the best value in all of Palm Beach County.”

The Oaks will feature floor plans from the Cypress Collection, designed for 50-foot lots, with 18 layouts ranging from 1,644 to 4,008 square feet under air. The Indigo Collection, planned for 65-foot lots, will include 11 floor plans ranging from 2,410 to 4,314 square feet under air. Buyers will be able to choose from five total elevations, including the two newly introduced styles.
Residents of The Oaks will have access to the $22 million Westlake Adventure Park. Amenities include a resort-style lagoon pool with tower slide, splash pad, adult lap pool, event lawn, concert pavilion, food truck court, BMX pump park, playground, dog park, full-length lighted basketball courts, and a community room known as The Lodge.

“As more and more people and businesses have moved into Westlake, you can now see and feel the energy of the community,” said Svopa.
Located in central Palm Beach County, Westlake continues to attract buyers seeking new-construction homes in a growing, family-oriented setting. Minto has capacity for more than 6,000 residences and is approved for over 2 million square feet of commercial space.
Recent commercial additions in the area include Tractor Supply Co., Starbucks, Planet Fitness, and a private racquet club with 10 indoor padel courts. A Publix opened two years ago, and a Lowe’s store and regional headquarters is in the planning stages. Additional service-oriented retail and dining options are expected to open in the coming year.
