Two developers want to proceed with a Frida Kahlo-inspired housing project in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood.

The proposed Frida Kahlo Wynwood Residences would comprise two twin towers measuring eight and 14 stories. Upon its anticipated 2029 release, the venture would yield 244 luxury residences, spanning studio to three-bedroom units. Homes would measure about 400 to 1,170 square feet.

Units range from $500,000 to $1.6M.m. Sources report that 206 homes will come furnished with office suites that would measure 71 to 170 square feet. Communal amenities are set to include an elevated swimming pool and lounge, fitness center, and other high-end offerings.

Frida Kahlo Wynwood Residences isn’t limited to the residential aspect. The project’s site notes that there will also be a 5,000-square-foot wellness center (Baker Health). Residents would be offered exclusive membership plans that would include specialized wellness services.

Property Markets Group (PMG) and Lndmrk Development are the two developers. The pair purchased the project’s 1.11-acre site through an affiliate in 2023.  Carlos Ott and Cube 3 collaborated on Frida Kahlo Wynwood Residences’ design and structure.

The 244-unit community is set for 119 NW 29th St, Miami, FL, 33127, in Miami-Dade County.

  1. The architecture is nice, but the massing and proportions are off. The lower portion should at least have an additional stepback. Oh, and Frida Kahlo? Really?

  2. Would have been better if they had made it the Tony Montana residences.

    • The average Scarface fan can’t afford it, and the average Frida Kahlo fan is thousands in student debt for their useless art degree.
