Vertical construction has reached 21 floors at Villa Miami, a 56-story, 650-foot waterfront residential tower rising along Biscayne Bay at 710 NE 29th Street in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood. The development will contain 70 half-floor and full-floor condominium residences and is being developed by Terra in partnership with One Thousand Group and Major Food Group, with architecture by ODP Architects and interiors by AD100 designer Vicky Charles.
The tower is rising on a waterfront site overlooking Biscayne Bay and is scheduled for completion in late 2027. Residences are planned as expansive half-floor and full-floor layouts, each oriented to capture panoramic views across the bay and toward Miami Beach. The project recently unveiled a $55 million penthouse residence occupying the uppermost levels of the building, delivered as a fully finished and designed unit.

“The tower’s silhouette is now visibly emerging across the skyline, from the Causeway to Miami Beach, signaling the arrival of a new architectural landmark on Biscayne Bay,” said David Martin, CEO of Terra. “As it rises, the placemaking vision becomes clear, an integration of design excellence, hospitality, and cultural programming that defines a new sense of place along Edgewater’s waterfront.”
Villa Miami is located in Edgewater, a waterfront neighborhood situated between Downtown Miami and the Design District. Historically characterized by low-rise residential buildings and light industrial uses, the area has undergone steady transformation over the past decade, with a growing concentration of high-rise residential development along Biscayne Bay. The neighborhood offers proximity to Wynwood, Midtown, and the Design District, as well as cultural institutions including the Institute of Contemporary Art Miami, the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, and the Pérez Art Museum Miami.

“This milestone brings us closer to delivering the full expression of Major Food Group’s approach to residential living,” said Jeff Zalaznick, co-founder of Major Food Group. “Villa Miami represents the most advanced application of our service, design, and hospitality standards in a residential context.”
According to the development team, the project has drawn interest from a global buyer pool, including high-net-worth purchasers from the Northeast, California, Canada, Latin America, and Europe. Buyers include professional athletes, CEOs, and executives in finance and technology who are establishing primary residences in Miami.

Major Food Group’s involvement marks its first branded residential tower, extending the hospitality company’s platform into a residential setting. The group is known for restaurants including CARBONE, ZZ’s Club, Torrisi Bar & Restaurant, Sadelle’s, and Dirty French Steakhouse. At Villa Miami, Major Food Group has shaped the resident experience across culinary programming and interior sensibilities. Amenities are anchored by The Copper Club, a three-level private amenity suite that will include dining rooms, lounges, wellness facilities, a screening room, a salon, and a rooftop helipad. A ground-floor waterfront restaurant operated by Major Food Group is also planned.

“We are building a tower for a new generation of buyers who are choosing Miami as their primary home,” said Kevin Venger, co-founder of One Thousand Group. “Reaching this point in construction is an indicator of the demand for world-class design and the kind of hospitality-driven lifestyle that only this team can deliver.”
