Construction has reached the 50th floor on Okan Tower, a 902-foot mixed-use skyscraper underway at 555 North Miami Avenue in Downtown Miami. Developed by Okan Group and designed by Behar Font & Partners, the tower is now at roughly 75 percent structural completion, with 22 floors remaining to reach its full height of 72 stories.

The curtain wall has already climbed dozens of floors, and the stepped floor plates are beginning to more clearly express the tulip-inspired massing of the design. As vertical construction continues, the tower is becoming an increasingly prominent presence on the Downtown Miami skyline. The building is expected to top out in August.

Once complete, Okan Tower will contain a 316-key Hilton Miami Bayfront Hotel, 236 condo-hotel residences managed by Hilton Hotels & Resorts, 163 Sky Residences, and approximately 64,000 square feet of Class A office space.

Amenities will include a rooftop pool and sky deck on the uppermost levels, a lap pool on the 12th floor, club and lounge spaces, a fitness center, yoga studio, hammam, sauna, steam rooms, treatment areas, an owner’s lounge, wine cellar, and a children’s playroom. The property is being exclusively marketed and sold by Fortune Development Sales.

“Reaching this stage of construction is a significant achievement for the project,” said Bekir Okan, Chairman of Okan Group. “Okan Tower represents years of planning, design, and coordination. Seeing the building take its place on the Miami skyline is both rewarding and a clear reflection of the team’s disciplined execution.”

The tower rises near Miami Worldcenter and within close proximity to several of Downtown’s major cultural destinations, including the Kaseya Center, Frost Museum of Science, Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, and Freedom Tower.

“The project’s steady construction progress reflects the consistency of buyer interest we’ve seen since launch,” said Michael Sadov, Sales Director at Okan Tower. “Purchasers increasingly view Downtown Miami condos as an asset class of their own with all the lifestyle benefits that come with living in the epicenter of the most exciting city on the planet.”

  1. Gorgeous tower. It will transform our skyline and stand out among all the flat top buildings in the area.

  2. There’s a prison right behind the street where the Okan Tower is located. You can hear the prisoners’ screams and shouts every day. Additionally, there’s very dense development in this area. As a result, traffic will be terrible in the coming days. Furthermore, there are a large number of beggars and homeless people in this area. For this reason, this area isn’t a very safe place. Furthermore, you can see dog urine everywhere. The area smells particularly bad, especially during the summer months. Most importantly, the parts of Miami near the beach are sinking into the ground every year. This situation is very critical! For these reasons, buying a home in this area would be a very risky investment..!
