Construction has topped off on La Baia North, an eight-story, 57-residence boutique bayfront condominium at 9481 East Bay Harbor Drive in Bay Harbor Islands. Developed by Continuum Company and designed by Luis Revuelta, with interiors by Durukan Design and landscaping and pool design by C. Wright Studios, the waterfront project is being built by Jacob Companies, with Continuum Construction Team serving as owner’s representative. Completion is anticipated in 2027.

Located along Biscayne Bay, La Baia North marks the second and final phase of Continuum Company’s La Baia waterfront enclave, following the sellout of La Baia South. Continuum Realty, the developer’s in-house brokerage, is exclusively leading sales for the project.

“Reaching the topping-off milestone at La Baia North highlights both the appeal of Bay Harbor Islands and the strong demand for boutique waterfront living,” said Ian Bruce Eichner, Chairman and CEO of Continuum Company. “This achievement is a testament to the dedication of our development, construction, and sales teams, whose collaboration brought the project to this point,” he added. “This milestone reinforces the strength of well-located, thoughtfully executed development that is designed with the neighborhood in mind.”

Residences at La Baia North are planned in two- to four-bedroom layouts ranging from approximately 1,400 to 2,100 square feet. Homes will be delivered fully finished with private terraces, clear glass railings, floor-to-ceiling impact-resistant glass, imported European wide-plank wood flooring, and natural marble stone bathrooms. Kitchens will include custom imported European millwork, quartz stone countertops, and Miele appliance packages, with wine coolers included in select penthouse residences.

“La Baia North is resonating with buyers because it delivers something increasingly hard to find in South Florida, a waterfront private boutique residence in a walkable family-friendly neighborhood,” said Allie Eichner, President of Continuum Company Florida. “Bay Harbor Islands offers a more relaxed, livable alternative to high-density towers, and that lifestyle is driving today’s demand.”

The amenity program spans more than 20,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, including more than 8,500 square feet of landscaped green space, heated soaking spas, an interactive water feature for children, a sunset lounge with a fire pit, and a 9,700-square-foot rooftop amenity deck organized with dedicated adult and family areas. The project will also include a private marina with resident boat slips, a water sports launch dock with kayaks and paddleboards, a fitness center, business and study pod areas, a rooftop children’s splash pad, and a play lawn.

Many residences are planned with views of Biscayne Bay, the Atlantic Ocean, Miami Beach, and Downtown Miami. The project’s location places it near Kane Concourse, Bal Harbour Shops, and the beach, providing access to nearby dining, retail, and waterfront recreation.

“The progress at La Baia North mirrors the decisive buyer interest we’re seeing in the market,” said Phil Gutman, President of Gutman Development Marketing. “Today’s buyers are prioritizing livability and location, and waterfront projects in Bay Harbor Islands that offer smart floor plans and a true residential feel continue to command sustained interest, making this milestone a clear reflection of that shift.”
