Construction has commenced on Connerton Apartments, a 270-unit multifamily community within the Connerton master-planned development in Land O’ Lakes, Florida. Designed by Dynamik Design and developed by Woodfield Development, the project is located on a 17.5-acre site along Connerton Boulevard. Summit is the general contractor. First deliveries are anticipated in the second quarter of 2028.
The development will consist of 252 apartment units alongside six carriage homes and 12 townhomes, bringing the total residential count to 270 homes. Residences will include one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts ranging from approximately 773 to 1,519 square feet. Planned interior finishes include quartz countertops, energy-efficient stainless-steel appliances, wood-style vinyl plank flooring, and in-unit washers and dryers.
Community amenities will include a resort-style zero-entry swimming pool with cabanas, a co-working center with private workstation offices, a pet spa and dog park, multiple grilling stations, a 24-hour fitness center with a yoga and flex room, a resident clubroom, community lounge, and a pickleball court.
Located within the larger Connerton master-planned community, the development will provide residents with access to an extensive network of trails, boardwalks, parks, lakes, preserved natural areas, and existing recreational facilities throughout the community.
The property is situated approximately five miles from Speros, the planned 775-acre life sciences district anchored by Moffitt Cancer Center. The district is expected to become a major employment hub for the region and is projected to generate thousands of jobs upon completion.
Woodfield Development acquired the property in December 2025 as part of its continued expansion across Florida. The company established its presence in the state in 2020 with the completion of Oversea at Flagler Banyan Square in West Palm Beach and has since commenced or completed more than 3,000 residential units statewide over the past five years.
