The site of an infill lake could be utilized for workforce housing in Kendall. The infill process started in 2018 and is reaching its conclusion.

The project, known as Eurus at Kendall Apartments, would comprise close to 280,000 square feet of new construction, measuring six stories above grade. Plans call for 234 apartments; six percent of the units (14) would be designated as workforce housing. Miami-Dade County defines workforce housing for households earning within 60 to 140 percent of the area median income.

Apartments at Eurus at Kendall Apartments would include one-bedroom to three-bedroom units, measuring 720 to 1,298 square feet. In addition to the 4,100 square feet of indoor communal amenities, residents would have access to a resort-style swimming pool. Of the 91 available parking spots, 80 would be in a parking deck, while the remaining 10 would be in private garages.

Arko Architecture is the architect. Southern Offices at Lakeside LLC, an affiliate of SH Communities, is the developer. Of the 5.4-acre site, 3.7 acres was the now-filled-in lake.

Eurus at Kendall Apartments would be located on the northernmost side of Southwest 132nd Street, Kendall, Florida, 33176, in Miami-Dade County.
