Phase One of Upland Park has been completed at 1455 NW 121st Avenue in West Miami-Dade, marking the delivery of the first residential component of the $1 billion mixed-use transit-oriented development. Developed by Terra, the 47-acre master-planned community is designed by PPK Architects in collaboration with master plan architect Arquitectonica and urban planner Plusurbia Design. The newly completed phase introduces 578 multifamily apartments, with leasing underway and residents now moving into the community.
Upland Park is redeveloping the Miami-Dade County Dolphin Park-and-Ride Transit Terminal Facility through a public-private partnership between Terra and Miami-Dade County. Upon full buildout, the development will comprise multiple phases of residential, retail, and commercial space adjacent to one of the county’s busiest transit hubs. The project is planned to serve as the future anchor of the East-West Corridor under Miami-Dade County’s Strategic Miami Area Rapid Transit (SMART) Program and has been described as the largest transit-oriented development in Miami-Dade County.

This residential phase includes a mix of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, along with select den layouts, ranging from approximately 700 to 1,528 square feet. Monthly rental rates begin in the $2,000s. Residences are finished with Italian cabinetry, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, luxury vinyl tile flooring, in-unit washers and dryers, roller shades, and walk-in closets in primary bedrooms.

Residents have access to a collection of amenities that includes a resort-style lap pool and separate children’s pool, a clubhouse, pickleball courts, outdoor grilling and gathering areas, a playground, a dog park, landscaped green spaces overlooking the community lake, bicycle storage, and electric vehicle charging stations.

Located adjacent to Dolphin Station Park & Ride Transit Terminal, Upland Park provides direct access to public transit while offering convenient connections to Florida’s Turnpike, State Road 836, Miami International Airport, Florida International University, Downtown Doral, and surrounding employment and commercial centers.
Construction of the project’s second residential phase, which will add 484 multifamily apartments, is expected to begin later this year. Future phases of Upland Park are planned to introduce additional mid-rise and garden-style residential buildings, along with retail and commercial space across the remainder of the master-planned development.
