A grand opening was held for the Safe Harbor Rybovich Trade Building, a 44,054-square-foot marine service facility at 157 East 22nd Street in Riviera Beach. Completed for Safe Harbor Rybovich with Saltz Michelson Architects serving as architect of record, the three-level building forms part of an expansion of the company’s Riviera Beach marine campus. Hedrick Brothers Construction managed construction through its West Palm Beach office.
The September 17 ceremony followed substantial completion in April 2026. Construction began in May 2025 on the 4.84-acre site. The building contains first-floor and mezzanine-level trade spaces dedicated to vessel servicing, with professional offices on the upper level.

Beyond vertical construction, Hedrick Brothers completed sitework and infrastructure improvements encompassing the relocation of existing electrical and telecommunications utilities, right-of-way enhancements, and new landscaping. The scope also included hardening and expanding the adjacent boatyard, with electrical and mechanical infrastructure supporting large-scale yacht maintenance and repair operations.
According to the announcement, the expansion includes a mobile boat lift imported from Germany capable of lifting yachts up to 250 feet long from the water and transporting them onto land for servicing. The expanded operation nearly doubles the campus’ hauling capacity and is expected to accommodate as many as 300 vessels annually.
Safe Harbor describes the expanded campus as the largest superyacht repair facility in Florida and one of the largest on the East Coast. The company expects the additional capacity to attract more vessels to the region and increase demand for marine contractors, skilled tradespeople, suppliers, and other local businesses.

The project team also included KPR Interiors for interior design and Kimley-Horn as civil engineer. Quantum Electrical Engineering, Inc. and Premier Consulting Engineers oversaw mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering, while Watt Inc. served as the owner’s representative.
