An affordable housing project is under construction in Central Florida.

Kissimmee Cove will host 73 apartments in a four-story building, with floorplans including one-bedroom and two-bedroom models. In-unit finishings will include quartz countertops, tile floorings, and Energy Star appliances. Communal amenities will include a resort-style swimming pool, fitness center, and business center. Other offerings include a library and bicycle storage stations.

Residency will be available to households earning at or below 30, 60, and 70 percent of the area median income (AMI). Osceola County’s median income was $88,559 as of 2025.

Housing Trust Group (HTG) is the developer. From the firm’s website: “Kissimmee Cove will also incorporate energy-efficient and impact-rated windows and other sustainability and resiliency features designed to promote long-term efficiency and resident comfort.”

FK Architecture is the architect; Hamilton Engineering & Surveying is the civil engineer. Park & Eleazer is the general contractor. The firm intends to have the project completed by early 2028. Kissimmee Cove is estimated to cost more than $30 million to complete.

Financial backers include Raymond James, Florida Housing Finance Corporation, Fifth Third Bank, and Grandbridge/Freddie Mac. Kissimmee Cove is located at 1790 N Hoagland Blvd, Kissimmee, Florida, 34741, in Osceloa County. It will occupy a two-acre site.
