Construction’s expected to start on Mr. Krymwood, a hotel coming to Miami, Florida, in mid-2023. Right now, the venture’s currently in its schematic drawings phase. Once construction begins, it will ideally take 18 months to complete.
The eight-story hotel will feature 80 units. The South Florida Business Journal notes that they will be short-term rental units. The rooms range from 300 to 700 square feet each. The property’s amenities include a rooftop pool deck with a bar, indoor lounge, gym, and speakeasy.
Michael Krymchantowski, a Brazilian hotel investor, owns the project. He’s owned property in Wynwood, Florida, for about 10 years. His already-existing property, Krymwood Flats, is a 21-room apartment/hotel hybrid.
Mr. Krymwood will rest on land comprising more than 11,000 square feet. Krymchantowski owns the parcel through Florida Art Service LLC. MKDA Architects designed the project and has already released conceptual renderings online. Plans show a sleek, avant-garde building with a white and black facade. There will be a food hall on the bottom floor.
Mr. Krymwood will cost about $30 million to complete, made possible by QKapital, an Aventura-based firm. The venture’s address is 176 Northwest 28th Street, Miami, Florida, 33127, in Miami-Dade County. It’s east of I-95 and south of I-195.
