Aurora St. Leon Apartments is unfolding in Ocala, Florida. Records show that the multi-family housing development will offer 277 apartments, ranging from one-bedroom to three-bedroom layout plans. There will be 10 different floor models to choose from. Originally, the development was called “Bel Canto.”
The homes will be distributed among 11 low-rise buildings. The buildings will come outfitted with elevators and feature three building types. Amenities will include a swimming pool, trash enclosure, covered pavilion, and clubhouse. The project calls for about 300,000 square feet of new construction.

The venture began construction in March 2022. Vertical construction is expected to start in September 2022. Fugleberg Koch Architects, Inc. designed the venture. Blueprints show that the buildings will be wood-frame structures with a concrete foundation. The facade will comprise halcyon green, neutral ground, and rockwood blue-green. The paint colors will come from Sherwin-Williams.
Other involved entities in the multi-family complex include Tillman & Associates Engineering (the civil engineer), TMW Designs, Inc.(the mechanical engineer), and Lou Pontigo & Associates, Inc. (the structural engineer).
Aurora St. Leon Apartments’ address is 2211 Northwest 21st Street, Ocala, Florida, 34475, in Marion County. Renderings from Google Earth suggest that before construction began, the build site was undeveloped.
