Shoreline Villas is expected to end construction sometime in 2022, offering affordable housing for people 62 years and older. According to the Housing Trust Group, LLC (the development’s owner), rent will range from about $480 to $1,053 a month. Residents who qualify will make “at or below 33 and 60 percent of the area median income.” There are 72 units.
The complex is undergoing construction in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Sources note that construction began in 2021, with Hennessy Construction Services, operating as the general contractor. PQH Group, Inc. is the venture’s architect, presently overseeing 54 active projects totaling an estimated $208 million. It has projects in the public, private, and municipal sectors.
Shoreline Villas will measure three stories above grade and offer a host of amenities, including a putting green, swimming pool, dog park, community garden, and walking trail. The homes themselves will comprise one to two-bedroom units measuring about 650 square feet to 873 square feet each. Plans also include a clubhouse with a covered patio.
Shoreline Villas will also offer enrichment opportunities for its residents, including employment assistance services and literacy training courses. The project’s address is 214 Dates Avenue Northwest, Fort Walton Beach, FL, 32548, in Okaloosa County.
