Right now, the City of Lakeland is reviewing plans for Ovation at Lake Hunter, a $9.1 million multi-family complex in Lakeland, Florida. The residential venture will comprise two three-story buildings, featuring just 24 units. Conceptual renderings suggest open-air courtyards, walking trails, surface parking, and a manmade lake with a fountain.
Sources note that construction could start by the end of this year. Cannatellia Builders, Inc. is the developer. It recently finished construction on Frankie Beans Café, a commercial venture in Delray Beach. JSK Consulting of Lakeland, Inc. is the civil engineer and presently has five projects in the pipeline.
The venture will rest on almost two acres.
It recently halted the development of Willow Point Apartments. The venture, also located in Lakeland, was planned to offer various homes spread across multiple low-rise buildings. The venture has been in the works since 2019 until it was abandoned in late 2021.
The community is south of I-4.
At this time, sources don’t list a general contractor for Ovation at Lake Hunter. Based on the venture’s scope, if construction starts in late 2022, it could finish completion in 2023 or 2024. However, this has not yet been confirmed. Ovation at Lake Hunter’s address is 108 Lake Hunter Drive, Lakeland, Florida, 33803, in Polk County. The development is south of I-4.
