Developers are moving forward with Cornerstone, a mixed-use development slated for Coral Springs, Florida. It will offer a state-of-the-art boutique hotel with a parking garage. Plans also call for more than 300 luxury apartments. The residential aspect will offer a host of amenities, including a fitness center, lobby, and leasing office.
Per Tap into Coral Springs, plans also call for 10,000 square feet of office space and more than 46,000 square feet of retail space. The retail space will comprise shops, bars, and restaurants. One of the restaurants may be owned by NBA players. Other amenities include a yoga studio, cycle center, and organic grocery store.
Predeso Property Investments, LLC owns the venture. The multi-acre project will replace a Publix supermarket in downtown Coral Springs. Originally, construction was planned to end in 2023. After making some changes, the venture will ideally reach completion in 2024. The changes will lessen traffic in the area.
Conceptual renderings show a pedestrian-friendly development with tree-lined sidewalks, outdoor seating, fountains, and event space.
The venture’s website lists Cornerstone’s address as 3300 North University Drive, Coral Springs, Florida, 33065, in Broward County. The venture is north of the Stranahan River.
