Prosper Group, a real estate investment and development firm, has received approval for a ground-up construction project of 40 high-end townhomes in Tampa. This marks the first deal announced by Prosper Group in Tampa. Located at 8419 and 8425 North Hubert Ave in the Carrollwood neighborhood, the construction site is 3.1 acres or 85,000 sq ft of living space. Construction of the townhomes is set to be completed by Spring 2024.
“Over the years, we’ve seen Tampa truly become one of the strongest housing markets due to its location and high quality of life,” said Jay Roberts, Founder, and CEO of Prosper Group. “We’re thrilled to begin construction and offer homebuyers the opportunity to purchase the home of their dreams in Hillsborough County.”
The project will be completed in two phases, with the first delivering 25 townhomes, 2,143 SF, three stories with a deck, three bedrooms, and three baths by Spring 2023. Six units will be designated live work where owner users can have a dedicated office to work from on the first floor.
The neighborhood of Carrollwood is among the most desirable suburbs in Tampa, with a diverse, family-oriented culture. With about 35,000 residents, it is about nine miles north of downtown, with many amenities and dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby.
