Klaus Parking Systems has plans for a residential development in North Miami, Florida. Cyber Place will comprise more than 300,000 square feet of new construction, resting on a 1.46-acre site.
The owner purchased the site for $2.79 million. Upon completion, Cyber Place will offer 218 apartments in a 12-story building. The South Florida Business Journal reports that homes will measure 688 square feet to 1,180 square feet each. Layout options range from one-bedroom to three-bedroom units.
Thirty-two homes have been set aside as workforce housing units, available to those making up to 120 percent of the area’s median income. Plans also call for 2,300 square feet of ground floor retail, 1,500 square feet of offices, and a 293-spot parking garage. Klaus Parking Systems intends to build the parking garage with its latest technology, which includes a mechanical lift system.
It will also feature a rooftop swimming pool. Sources report that Cyber Place cost start construction early next year, and it could cost $80 million to build. Holland & Knight LLP is the owner’s representative. Valent Architect is the architect. Conceptual renderings show a high-rise building with an outdoor lounging area and amenity deck.
Cyber Place could be located at 12450 and 12304 Northeast 13th Avenue, North Miami, Florida, 33161, in Miami-Dade County. Before construction starts, the general contractor must demolish a single-family home and commercial building on the build site.
