In April 2021, Prestige Builders Group secured a $22 million loan that they will put toward the construction of workforce housing. One of those housing units, dubbed Poe’s Lofts, will cost around $7 million, per the Construction Journal.
Poe’s Lofts will be located at 7901 W. 4th Avenue, Hialeah, FL, 33014. It is actually located very close to the Prestige Builders Group office, which is located at 7755 W. 4th Avenue––only a seven-minute walk, according to Google Maps.
Poe’s Lofts will be built along with two other housing units, called Champion’s Lofts and Palm Avenue Lofts. Together, they will provide a total of 186 units. Poe’s Lofts will have 108 units located on 1.9 acres of land, making it the biggest development of the three. It will also be three stories above grade.
Construction has not yet started on Poe’s Lofts. At the time of publication, prospective bidders included All Star Flooring and Paul’s Stonetree Fence System Inc. There is no information as to who will be designing the units, but sources say that it will be “garden-style projects.”
This is just one of the projects that Prestige Builders Group has in the works. Earlier in 2021, they secured another construction loan for a workforce development on the Ludlam Trail. It is just one of many initiatives to provide more housing to people living in Miami-Dade County.
