Kast Construction has started building a new 22-story tower in West Palm Beach, Florida. The venture will comprise 459 class A residential units on a 1.39-acre lot, according to the Real Deal. It will also feature 7,000 square feet of commercial space, 628 parking spots, and more than 35,000 square feet of amenities. Those amenities include a swimming pool, amenity deck, and other features.
Initially, the 22-story tower was to measure 17 stories above grade and offer 425 homes. Yet, the South Florida Business Journal reports that the city later approved a height increase to accommodate more units and commercial enterprises.
Sources report that construction first started on the $170 million venture earlier this summer. Prior to construction, the build site was vacant. Carl Levin Architecture + Design is the architect. Conceptual renderings reveal a high-rise building with a geometric façade. Completion’s slated for 2024.
Starwood Capital Group is one of the lead developers. It’s one of the largest developers in the world, based in Miami. Other involved parties in the mixed-use venture include Hyperion Group and Winter Properties.
Some sources call the project “350 Tower,” although this isn’t been officially confirmed. However, it’s located at 350 South Australian Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida, 33401, in Palm Beach County.
