Spyke’s Grove, an agricultural facility in Davie, Florida, will soon make way for a multifamily residential community. The complex will offer 86 homes, a mix of single-family houses and townhomes, per the Real Deal.
The single-family homes will rest on lots measuring up to 7,200 square feet, with the homes themselves ranging from 2,155 square feet to 3,787 square feet each. Houses will comprise four-bedroom to five-bedroom units.
Townhomes range from three- to four-bedroom units, spread across 12 two-story buildings. The South Florida Business Journal notes that communal amenities include a children’s playground, a four-acre lake, a swimming pool, and 261 parking spots.
There will also be a plaque located on Griffin Road, remembering Spyke’s Grove and its role in the community. The unnamed residential community will all rest on a build site measuring 18 acres.
The endeavor’s expected to cost $40 million to complete. ESA Architects designed the community. Conceptual renderings show multiple buildings with stucco and stone exteriors.
Other involved parties include 5 Star Developers LLC, Witkin Hults Design Group, Pillar Consultants Inc., and DR Horton. The community’s address is 7250 Griffin Road, Davie, Florida, 33314, in Broward County. It’s west of Florida 595 and north of Broward College––South Campus.
