In December 2021, we reported on the Pierce, a multifamily mixed-use complex slated for Boynton Beach, Florida. The complex was originally going to offer 236 apartments. But now, plans have slightly changed.
The South Florida Business Journal reports that the Affiliated Group hopes to make the project even bigger than before. If approved, the Pierce would offer 300 homes, ranging from 572 square feet to 1,423 square feet each. They include studios to three-bedroom units.
Communal amenities include a swimming pool, fitness center, dog park, and pickleball court. Yet, the homes and residential amenities are just one piece of the puzzle. The Pierce could also offer 17,015 square feet of restaurant and retail space.
Originally, the Pierce was going to offer 16,800 square feet of restaurant and retail space. The site plan says that one of those restaurants will be Hurricane Alley, which measures 4,696 square feet.
The Pierce will sit on a build site measuring 3.04 acres. The City of Boynton Beach will consider the expansion request on January 24, 2023. Sources noted that demand was strong for housing in South Florida, meaning that the Pierce could easily find tenants once it finishes construction.
The Pierce’s address is 115 North Federal Highway, Boynton Beach, Florida, 33435, in Palm Beach County.
