The Oaks at Monroe could soon call Central Florida home. The multifamily development could offer 86 units spread across three three-story buildings. The Orlando Business Journal reports that the community would sit on a 5.7-acre lot that the developers have owned since 2021. The lot is currently undeveloped and increased more than $500,000 in value from 1984 to 2021. Little is known about the units’ interiors. Yet, some come with garages.
GrowthSpotter reports that communal amenities will comprise a dog park, swimming pool, and clubhouse. At the time of publication, sources reported that the Oaks at Monroe could start construction in April 2023. However, the developers have not officially confirmed this timeline. The complex could require $32 million to build.
Developers are currently seeking site plan approvals. A & R Real Estate Development LLC is the developer. Other involved parties in the venture include Zero Latitude Inc. (the architect), Cycorp Engineering Inc. (the civil engineer and landscape engineer), and Meridian Homes (the general contractor). Many of the entities involved in this project are based in Florida.
The Oaks at Monroe’s address is 730 Monroe Avenue, Apopka, Florida, 32703, in Orange County. The community would be east of Lake Apopka and north of Florida State Road 414.
