Everest Rehabilitation Hospital is under construction in Ocoee, Florida. The venture, estimated to cost $24 million, will comprise 36 beds. Cision reports that the inpatient hospital’s owned by Everest Rehabilitation Hospitals LLC, which has a reputation for designing identical care centers. This is its fourth Florida location.
Upon completion, the Everest Rehabilitation Hospital in Ocoee will feature 40,000 square feet of new construction in a single-story building. Sources note that the facility is more like “a luxury hotel versus a typical hospital setting.” Future expansions could offer an additional 17 beds.

Everest Rehabilitation Hospital Ocoee will be a freestanding structure located on a 5.1-acre build site. It features many amenities, including physical therapy rooms, life skills training apartment, in-house dialysis, a dining hall, and family lounges. The facility focuses on helping those in the aftermath of strokes, heart attacks, spinal cord trauma, and other conditions that require rehabilitation.
As noted, Everest Rehabilitation Hospitals LLC is the owner. Dave Schmitt Engineering, Inc. and American Layout & Land Surveying are the civil engineers. H.J. High Construction is the general contractor. Construction’s been ongoing since October 2022.
