The Viking Yacht Company, a luxury yacht producer, hopes to expand its facilities in Riviera Beach, Florida. Its new sales and service center would comprise close to 45,000 square feet of new construction.
Per a recent report from the South Florida Business Journal, plans call for two low-rise buildings, along with 126 parking spots. One building would require more than 35,000 square feet of new construction; about 20,000 would be a boat showroom, while the other 15,000 would be for warehouse storage.
The other building would require just under 9,300 square feet of new construction, primarily focusing on industrial purposes. Overall, the expansion will focus on Viking Yacht’s Valhalla series.
The center console yachts measure 33 to 46 feet. The proposed venture would rest on a 3.3-acre site, which is currently owned by three affiliates of the Viking Yacht Company.
Recent renderings from Google Earth show that the build sites are largely vacant. SpinaOrourke + Partners Architecture and Interior Design designed the venture. Kimley-Horn is the civil engineer.
If approved, the Viking Yacht Company’s expansion could be located at 1420 and 1500 Broadway and 1509 Avenue C in Riviera Beach, Florida, 33404, in Palm Beach County.
