In April 2022, construction started on Arya, an apartment complex in St. Petersburg, Florida. Upon completion, the development will host 415 units, many of which are set aside as affordable housing units. Per St. Pete Rising, residency is reserved for those making 80 percent to 120 percent of the area median income.
The venture’s website reports that units will range from one-bedroom to three-bedroom layout plans. They come with nine-foot-high ceilings, integrated smart home technology, and in-unit washers/dryers. Select units come with pantries and lake views.
The venture will offer more than 400 units.
Communal amenities at Arya include a 15,000-square-foot clubhouse and 3,000-square-foot fitness center, along with a resort-style pool, dog parks, and 790 parking spots. Stock Development is the garden-style complex’s developer. It purchased the 20-acre property for $10.8 million back in 2020.
Humphreys & Partners Architects designed the community. Sources report that other members on the development team include HPA Design Group, Summit Construction, and George F. Young Engineering.
The venture will finish construction in 2024.
Construction on Arya is expected to take over two years with completion slated for the fourth quarter of 2024. Prior to breaking ground, the build site hosted the Venetian Motor Home Court. It comprised 150 homes.
